another bunch of yesterdays

stir crazed rash of twilights spout
into selfish and scourged memories
the stumbles becoming all too prominent
as age defines itself in a sordid binge

the end of the tunnel glare
heats the trembling chills
yesterday's pain binds itself
in the guise of B&W remembrance

the sorter, himself, wants
a piece of equipment
something OSHA doesn't care about
something automated by compassion

the nickelodeon clicking begins
showing unsteady patched films
the clarity of which is debatable
"what did i do there"

eventually comes the return
early and rudimentary sounds/dances
seeping w/caution only to blare in spurts
three backup singers for decades

one was white, but damn, she could sing
